Mohammed Raihani

Mohammed Raihani was born in 1957 in Tangier, Morocco. After graduating from the American School of Tangier, he pursued his studies in one of the most prestigious private colleges in New York. In 1981, he completed an MBA at "Thunderbird, The Garvin School of International Management " in Phœnix, Arizona.

Mohammed Raihani benefits from a remarkable know-how and from an expertise in management thanks to his long international career, of more than 25 years of which 20 years were spent outside his home country, Morocco. He started his career in 1982 with S.C.Johnson (Johnson Wax) in the US before moving to Spain for four years. He then moved to the Middle East where he held a number of jobs with the same company. In 1994, he joined Duracell as General Manager for Morocco before assuming the responsibility over North & West Africa. Further to the acquisition of Duracell by the Gillette group in 1996, he became Regional Marketing Director, based in London, in charge of Africa, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Russia and India.

In 2004, Mohamed Raihani joined the Royal Dutch Shell group, in Tunisia, where he started off as the B2B-Fuels Manager. In July 2005, Mohammed returned to Morocco with Shell as the B2B-Fuels North Africa Manager. As of April 2006, Mohammed was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer and Country Chair for Shell Morocco.

Mohammed Raihani is also President of the British Chamber of Commerce in Morocco.
