Morocco to participate in Cheltenham Science FestivalRabat - Morocco will take part in Cheltenham Science Festival, to take place in Cheltenham (Great Britain) on June 9-13, officials from Morocco's Education ministry and British Council said on Tuesday.
Students' competitions will be organised in different Moroccan regions in order to choose the best candidates, organisers told the press.
Part of "FameLab", a program aiming to encourage scientific and technological research, This competition is open to Moroccan candidates aged between 18 and 40-year-old.
This initiative will enable young students to enrich and share their experiences in the fields of science and technology.
This program supports also Morocco's efforts to promote science and technology as a vector of socio-economic development.
Ten selected candidates will benefit from an intensive public communication training, which will help them give scientific presentation, during the national final competition next March, 13.
The winner of the final competition will be fully supported by the British Council during the Cheltenham Science Festival with other candidates from 13 countries
