Round Table on Women’s Political and Economic RepresentationThe Embassy took part on Tuesday 9th February 2010, at The Foreign and Commonwealth Office a round table discussion of Women’s Ambassadors and senior female Embassy staff held within the framework of the creation of a single, powerful women’s agency, a “Gender Entity” within the United Nations.
This meeting was chaired by the Minister for State Women & Equalities and the Minister of State for the UN to discuss women’s political and economic representation.
On this occasion, and on behalf of H.H The Princess Lalla Joumala, Ambassador of The Kingdom of Morocco, a presentation had been made on the realizations in Morocco on gender equality, related to political and economic of women‘s representation.
It was an opportunity to discuss recent development in countries on gender equality and to explore how to work together internationally to progress on gender equality.
