30/07/2016

Moroccan-British relationship has made significant progress, said Saturday HH Princess Lalla Joumala, Morocco's Ambassador to UK in her speech made on the occasion of the 17th anniversary of the enthronement of HM King Mohammed VI.

Alliance between the two countries are centuries-old with a rich history and promised to an even greater future, added Princess Lalla Joumala in her speech made at a reception held in London.
"I have seen, during my time here in London, the real commitment, from both our countries, for an even closer relationship. Together we have taken some key steps in the right direction and I am convinced that my country will be able to count of the continue support of all of you here in taking these advances forward", said the Moroccan Ambassador.

"It has been a great honour to represent my country at a time of intense change, marked by the truly ambitious and significant reforms initiated by our Sovereign across the board – from human rights and good governance to improving human development, upgrading the economy and facing the daunting environmental and security challenges of our time", stressed HH Princess Lalla Joumala.

The dynamic Moroccan-British diaspora, "as well as our committed British partners in government, parliament, the business sector and civil society" have all contributed to enriching Moroccan-British relations, said Princess Lalla Joumala.
