The tour of HM King Mohammed VI to East Africa marks Morocco's commitment for a renewed and coherent cooperation, supporting new opportunities for co-development and co-emergence in the continent, Youssef Amrani, Chargé de mission in the Royal Cabinet, said on Friday in Brussels.
Speaking at a panel on "Global Security in Africa and multilateralism" as part of the Crans Montana Forum, Amrani said the royal tour to three countries in English-speaking Africa "promotes the establishment of a real Moroccan-African partnership that will open promising prospects, politically and in terms of technical, spiritual and human development cooperation".
The tour, he added, is "completely in line with the commitment that the Sovereign has continuously promoted in favor of an Africa that can take its fate and its future into its own hands".
